PEPERO DAY ((빼빼로)

Annyeong-haseyo!
Pepero day is a festival celebrated by south-korean during every 11th November of the year.
It's similar to valentine's day except people exchange pepero stick biscuit instead of roses to their love one or friends.
Every wonder how pepero day came about?
It's name after the korean snack called " pepero stick" since the date "11/11" resembles four sticks of pepero.
This festival is most likely to be celebrated by young people and couple who exchange around on 11th November. According to one story, pepero day started in 1994 girl's school student, where they exchanged pepero sticks as gifts to wish one another to grow (as tall and slender as a pepero). No wonder korean females are tall and slender! ♥.
